An old colleague who moved to Boston asked me to stage this condo for her. While talking, she said, "Do you want to list it, too?" I said yes and immediately regretted it. Listing this condo reminded me why I want to focus on staging and step back from real estate sales. I can't do both and do them well. While I love selling real estate, my passion is designing and staging homes. It is my happy place. Pricing a home, negotiating contracts, figuring out solutions to home inspection items, and all the other things that go into selling real estate don't churn my gears the same way as making it beautiful. I salute the agents who love the act of selling a home. I love the homes themselves. That being said, I was a pretty good agent for the last decade, and I did it well, I have $150m plus in sales to prove it.
