Home staging by Michael Fowler Creative
Someone asked me recently if they could buy everything in this unit because they were considering buying it. People often ask about specific items but occasionally say they want it all. It takes a long time to price every item I use in a project. Some are things I've had for a couple of years and can't recall what I paid, some I cannot replace, and some took 2-3 hours of someone on my team's time to build. These all have costs. So, since I did all that work, I figured I'd share with you so you can gain some insight into my world. This one-bedroom, 500-square-foot apartment costs $6,120 to fully furnish and decorate. People don't often think it costs as much as it does, but when you don't do anything "on the cheap," there's a hefty price tag. I don't skimp. I want to make the listing look tremendous, but that costs money. So, if you ever wonder why staging costs what it does, you get what you pay for. This home is marketed by Kyra Agarwal at Compass. 3934 14th St NW Unit B Washington, DC 20011 Offered at: $324,900.
